The migration is so prevalent that Los Angeles is the second biggest in terms of population of Iranians and Filipinos (Juergensmeyer 4). The US is a multicultural place. Since the time of Columbuss discovery of the United States, there has been an influx of immigrants from all over the world. Suddenly everyone wanted to migrate to the land of opportunities. The Indian subcontinent has many fertile lands situated alongside ancient rivers. One of these most ancient civilizations on earth are found in North India, more commonly known as the Harappa Mohenjo-Daro. In the region of Punjab when it was not divided between India and Pakistan, there was strong minority of Sikh population. Compared to the huge population of Hindus and Muslims in India, the population of the Sikhs was not as much. They were and still are in minority. The world is known for the globalization of trade and economy but not many people pay attention to the globalization of religion.
